Please tell me where this month has gone!I guess with Spelling Bee, report cards, end of quarter reward party and field day that would pretty much explain why this month went by so fast. Well, we did manage some great days of learning between all the things going on. February promises to be just as busy. This is our month for Oral Language. Students will be preparing for competition (held Friday March 2nd). We have our community service project (bring large candy bar), where we will be making Valentine's Day Cards and taking them to the Bakersfield Rescue Mission. Selling Valentine's Day Grams, Science Fair, Creative Writing pieces are due, Basketball games, Kindergarten Open House, Rollerama, progress reports go home and then just the normal everyday school work. Oh...and don't forget there are two Monday holidays this month. Needless to say we are busy, busy, busy!
