This year I am teaching art. I must say this is an area I LOVE. We will be working with several different mediums and tecniques this quarter. Such as: pastels, watercolor, oil paint and pastels, modeling clay and many more if we have time. We will be drawing, painting, forming and creating. Watch for a list I will be sending home about items we need for our class. It is amazing the things that can be turned into art. |
Don't forget so "save" any and all items that we can turn into art. Here are some items we can use: water bottles, toilet paper, paper towel and wrapping paper rolls, tin cans, old magazines, yarn, paint brushes, sticks etc... anything you can visualize as art. I am so excited this year about our elective classes on Thursday. Our students have the opportunity each quarter to choose from a variety of different classes. They may choose three different electives to be involved in. We have been at it a month and I must say the students and teachers are really enjoying these classes. |
